Reservation Conditions
Booking through the website is necessary to reserve a dome at the Domea Nordic Complex. No reservations can be made on-site or by phone.
Weekends cannot be split into two, so no check-in or check-out is allowed on Saturdays.
Reservations made through the website will only be confirmed after the payment of the reservation deposit. In case of authorization refusal by the financial institution or credit card, Domea Nordic Complex reserves the right to cancel the reservation without notice or compensation.
Domea Nordic Complex reserves the right to cancel any reservation in case of major circumstances. In such cases, we will strive to offer relocation within the establishment, but do not guarantee compensation.
Reservations and agreement signing are reserved for individuals aged 21 and over.
Domea Nordic Complex reserves the right to deny access or expel any guest displaying aggressive, loud, disturbing behavior, or who is intoxicated.
Arrivals and Departures
Delays in arrival or early departures will not result in any refunds, whether due to poor itinerary planning or any other reason.
Check-in is possible from 4:00 PM but Earlyer than 10:00 PM.
Early arrivals are possible depending on availability and by request only. Departures must be completed by 11:00 AM. No late departures will be allowed.
Key Management
The dome key must be kept by the guest at all times to avoid being locked out. All keys must be returned on the day of departure. In case of non-return, Domea will charge $25 for each key not returned, deducted from the security deposit.
Pricing
The rates listed do not include taxes, which will be added.
The rates are based on a maximum of 4 people. Only a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children) is allowed to exceed this number. Any additional person will be charged $75 per person per night if not declared at the time of booking.
An additional cleaning fee of $50 per stay, along with applicable taxes, will be added.
Reservation Deposit
A reservation deposit of 50% of the total amount, including taxes, is required by credit card to guarantee your reservation. This amount is fully refundable up to 30 days before your stay, and 50% refundable up to 15 days before the start of your stay. Beyond 15 days before the start of the stay, no refund will be issued.
Security Deposit
A security deposit of $500 is payable by credit card or e-transfer no later than the day before your arrival. This deposit will be fully refunded within 7 days following departure if no damage is found and if the dome is maintained in the same condition as at arrival.
Cellular Network
No cellular network will be available in the domes; however, high-speed internet access will be available throughout the property. You may have limited cellular connection only near the reception building.
Rules and Rental Conditions
By renting from our establishment, the tenant and all occupants agree to abide by the following rules, which aim to ensure a pleasant and safe experience for everyone:
Eco-Friendly Complex: Doméa operates entirely on solar panels and batteries, which means electricity is limited. Therefore, it is strictly forbidden to plug in an electric car charger, use an electric raclette or fondue machine, toaster, coffee maker, hairdryer, flat iron, etc. This would quickly drain the batteries and cause a failure. To conserve energy, please avoid leaving appliances or lights on unnecessarily. We recommend showering in the morning rather than in the evening and keeping showers to a reasonable duration to save both water and energy.
Parking Use:
A maximum of 2 vehicles is allowed to park on the premises.
Indoor Hygiene:
It is mandatory to remove shoes indoors to maintain cleanliness and comfort for all.
Pets:
No pets will be allowed on the premises.
Respect for Quiet:
From 11 PM to 8 AM, we ask our tenants to reduce noise to ensure the tranquility of other guests.
Prohibition of Parties and Events:
No form of party or event is tolerated on the premises in order to preserve the peace of our establishment.
Guest Declaration:
It is imperative to report all guests present. A fee of $75 per person per night may be applied for unreported guests.
Maximum Capacity:
It is prohibited to exceed the maximum capacity displayed for each accommodation.
Non-Smoking Area:
The accommodations are strictly non-smoking. No cigarette butts should be thrown on the ground, even outside.
Maintenance and Cleanliness:
No food is allowed on the sofas or beds to maintain the cleanliness of the premises.
Responsible Use of the Spa:
The spa can accommodate a maximum of 3 people at a time. The cover must be closed when the spa is not in use and secured before departure.
Guests are responsible for maintaining the wood fire and the spa temperature during their stay.
Security Deposit:
The security deposit will be fully refunded within 7 days of departure if no damage is found and the accommodation is returned in its original condition.
Prohibited Activities:
Fireworks are prohibited at all times.
Motorized boats, ATVs, and off-road motorcycles are not allowed on the property.
Video Surveillance:
For safety and insurance reasons, surveillance cameras are in place outside the accommodations.
Watercraft:
For safety and insurance reasons, no watercraft are provided on-site at Doméa.
It is also prohibited to bring your own watercraft, kayaks, canoes, or paddleboards to avoid introducing harmful species into our lake.
By accepting these rules, the tenant and occupants undertake to:
Strictly comply with rental rules. Failure to comply with these may result in charges assessed at the discretion of our establishment.
Report any damage or breakdown of equipment to management as soon as possible.
Avoid any abusive or damaging behavior towards the property and equipment of the establishment.
Respect the environment by not throwing anything into sinks, toilets, bathtubs and showers.
Refrain from smoking inside accommodation, under penalty of eviction and loss of security deposit.
Allow the establishment access to the premises for inspections or necessary work.
Follow the waste sorting instructions and place the bags correctly in the bins provided for this purpose.
Ensure the closing and locking of doors and windows in the absence of tenants.
Take full responsibility for swimming in the lake and monitor the safety of children.
Respect the instructions for departure before 11 a.m., including cleaning, waste management and handing over keys.
